Authentic Japanese Scalp Treatment

This service includes a cap and hair bath. 

This service is done in a private room. 

1. This course will start off with a scalp consultation where we will take a close look at your scalp using a microscope. During this time you may discuss any concerns you may have regarding your scalp with your stylist.

2. Your stylist will then lead you to a private spa room. 

3. Depending on the state of your scalp a pre-shampoo by either Milbon or OWAY may be necessary. 

4. Your scalp and hair will then be soaked in the “Toshinyoku” hair bath by Takara Belmont in Japan. This service is done for 5 minutes as this is what is chosen by Takara Belmont.

      1.       2. Pleasant murmuring sound of a stream. Close your eyes and allow your mind to embark on a journey to new imaginary destinations of calm and tranquility. As it travels along with the sound of quiet flowing water, the soothing sound of a stream echoes contentedly in your ears, as it tempts you into sleep and ushers you into a deep state of relaxation.

      3. Removing oxidized sebum while retaining moisture on the scalp. Whilst retaining normal sebum, that is the scalp’s source of natural moisture, oxidized sebum is gently, yet effectively, removed. When its effects are realized and sensations of a cleansed healthy scalp are felt, customer satisfaction is noticeably enhanced.

5. The carbonated micro foam scalp shampoo by Milbon will then be performed. Cleansing and massaging the scalp with Spa Mist II by Takara Belmont. 

   1. Carbonated Shampoo: This spa foam has a high concentration of carbonic acid of about 4,400 ppm compared to the general carbonated bath salt which is about 1,000 ppm. This high concentration lifts and removes the sebum and lipid peroxide. There is an ingredient in the cleansing aid that washes away the source of odors leaving the scalp environment fresh and clean. 

   2. The Spa Mist II: Moisture care mist enhances scalp treatment by generating fine mist of microscopic water particles. It gently opens up the cuticle for deep cleansing and conditioning of the hair. Micro mist treats damaged hair more efficiently by using mist instead of steam. Ultrasonic vibrates 1.6 million times per seconds to emit an enormous quantity of microscopic water particles that help to permeate into damaged hair such as colored or permed hair. 

   3. Massaging: The massaging promotes blood circulation and gets rid of all of the build up on your scalp all while being in a fully reclined, relaxed state. 

6. Scalp treatment will then be applied accordingly with the addition of brushing to further remove the buildup and promote blood circulation. 

7. A Hair mask by OWAY will then be applied to the mid-ends of the hair accordingly to ensure moisture throughout the hair. OWAY hair care series carries 7 different lines. The type of hair mask chosen by your stylist will be personalized and based on your primary concerns. 

8. A towel care will then be performed releasing tension built up in the shoulders and neck. This will promote better lymphatic drainage further helping you into a relaxed state. 

9. Then a cap will be placed covering the scalp and hair.     The mist from the Spa Mist II will be directed into the cap. This method further penetrates the hair and scalp in an evenly distributed and concentrated manner. 

10. Finally all of the buildup and sebum that has risen will be slowly and thoroughly rinsed from the hair. 

11. The stylist will then lead you back to the station where a light massage will be conducted with a scalp serum that may be applied if necessary. You will also be provided with refreshments (organic tea service).

12. Blow dry ( any styling will be extra). 

13. You will then take a look at the final result of your scalp treatment with your stylist.
